Happy 2012! I hope this new year is treating you well so far! Thank you for all of the lovely comments about my upcoming birthday! You all are too sweet and it's nice to know that age is just a matter of how you feel for the most part. I do have many wonderful things to look forward to this year. First of all, my boys sports are starting up again and it's a treat to watch them play. I'm also running in the marathon at the end of January and to tell you the truth...I'm excited, but I will also be happy when the training is over. Waking up at five in the morning on Saturdays to run 22 miles is not exactly something I look forward to. When I'm out there, though, I do try my best and think about how strong running has made me. It's definitely the hardest physical thing I've ever done. When I started running the long runs, I would have to nap for hours afterwards, but now I can get cleaned up and do chores or go out with the family soon after. I do see how my body has gotten use to the training and running 12 miles now is not a biggy. I know that's crazy! Trust me! Well, let's get on to the fun stuff! I always enjoy coming up with a list a things that I absolutely love and here's what's on my list today!
